    General Provisions

    Scope of Application

    These General Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to all contracts for the sale of digital escape game tickets between Exitmania GmbH and the customer.

    Contracting Party

    The contracting party is Team Mania GmbH, Pappelallee 78, 10437 Berlin. The customer orders digitally available escape game tickets via the website www.exitmania.com.

    Conclusion of Contract

    The presentation of games on our website does not constitute a legally binding offer, but a non-binding invitation to place an order. By clicking the "Complete Purchase" button, you place a binding order. The contract is concluded upon receipt of payment and our order confirmation by email.

    Tickets & Booking

    Ticket Purchase and Validity

    Purchased tickets are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be redeemed for the booked game within this period. A ticket entitles you to one-time use of the selected escape game.

    Activation and Expiration

    After redeeming the ticket and starting the game, the validity expires after the playing time or at the latest after 48 hours. Extension or restoration is not possible.

    Third-Party Vouchers

    For vouchers from third-party providers (e.g., GetYourGuide, Viator), the conditions of the respective provider apply. These vouchers are usually valid for longer and have special redemption conditions. Please note the information on the voucher.

    Payment & Prices

    Prices and VAT

    All prices stated on our website are inclusive of statutory VAT in Euro (EUR).

    Payment Methods

    We accept the following payment methods: Credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, SEPA direct debit, and invoice (for corporate customers by arrangement).

    Due Date

    Payment is due immediately upon conclusion of contract. Special conditions apply for payment by invoice: The invoice is sent by email 48 hours before the booked event date and is payable within 7 days.

    Delivery & Access

    Sending Access Data

    After receipt of payment, you will immediately receive an email with your personal access data for the booked game. For payment by invoice, the access data is sent 48 hours before the event date.

    Delivery Address

    The access data is sent to the email address provided during the order. Please also check your spam folder and ensure that the email address is correct.

    Return & Right of Withdrawal

    14-Day Refund Policy (Goodwill Policy)

    Although the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content is excluded under § 312g para. 2 no. 9 BGB, we grant you a 14-day return right as a gesture of goodwill under the following conditions:

    • The return must be made within 14 days of the purchase date
    • The ticket must not have been activated or started
    • The return is made by email to ticket@exitmania.com
    • The refund is processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method

    Important: Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal

    According to § 312g para. 2 no. 9 BGB, your right of withdrawal expires prematurely as soon as you have started the execution of the digital content (i.e. started the game). By starting the game, you expressly accept the loss of the right of withdrawal.

    Withdrawal Instructions

    You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of conclusion of the contract. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email to ticket@exitmania.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

    Liability & Warranty

    Liability

    We are liable in accordance with statutory provisions:

    • •Unlimited in cases of intent and gross negligence, in cases of intentional or negligent injury to life, body or health, and in accordance with the Product Liability Act
    • •In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of a material contractual obligation (obligation the fulfillment of which enables the proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance you may regularly rely). Liability in this case is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract
    • •We are not liable for technical disruptions that are beyond our control (e.g. internet connection problems on the customer's side)

    Warranty

    In case of defects in digital content, statutory warranty rights apply. Please report technical problems or defects immediately to ticket@exitmania.com. We will first offer remedial action before further warranty rights can be asserted.

    The warranty is excluded in cases of improper use, use of incompatible hardware or software, or failure to observe system requirements.

    Force Majeure

    We are not liable for non-fulfillment of our obligations due to force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, pandemics, war, strike, official orders). In such cases, we offer a refund or a credit.

    Legal

    Applicable Law

    German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.

    Place of Jurisdiction

    If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is our registered office.

    Changes to the T&C

    We reserve the right to change these T&C at any time. The current version is available on our website. Contracts already concluded remain unaffected by changes.

    Severability Clause

    Should individual provisions of these T&C be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
