Our Terms and Conditions
Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to the purchase and redemption of tickets for escape games via our game platform Exitmania.com.
Contracting parties
The contract is concluded between the customer and Team Mania GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the "provider").
Purchasing Tickets and Validity
After purchasing a ticket, it is valid for a period of 6 months. Within this time frame, the buyer can use the ticket for the corresponding game.
Activation and Expiry of Tickets
Once the ticket has been activated by the buyer through the onboarding process, its validity expires at the end of the game time or at the latest after 48 hours. After that, it is no longer possible to use the ticket code.
Redemption of vouchers from third-party providers
Buyers of vouchers through third-party providers, intended for our games, can redeem them directly through a designated form on our website. As long as the voucher has not been used on our website, it remains valid for the duration communicated on the third-party provider's website. Once the voucher is redeemed for a booking using the respective form, the 6-month period after the voucher code's deactivation also applies here.
No right to refund in case of premature game abandonment
Players who prematurely end the game generally have no right to a refund. Exceptions apply in cases of technical errors related to Exitmania's web app. If this occurs and is plausibly described by the buyer, the payment will be refunded. If the game is ended prematurely for reasons other than technical issues, the further course of action will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
Exclusion of Liability
The provider is not liable for damages caused by improper use or force majeure.
Changes to the Terms and Conditions
The provider reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time in order to adapt them to changed legal situations or changes in the offer and data processing.
Final Provisions
Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Instead of the invalid or unenforceable provision, a provision shall apply that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid or unenforceable provision.
Applicable Law
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Place of jurisdiction
The competent court for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions is the court located at the registered office of the provider, provided that the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law.
Cancellation Policy
Since the tickets purchased through our platform are services related to leisure activities, there is no statutory right of withdrawal for consumers in accordance with § 312g (2) No. 9 BGB.
